How do I play?
Tap Play, pick a difficulty, then drag your finger (or mouse) across the water to scrub off the green algae. The game ends when algae covers the whole pool. Your score is how many seconds you survived.
How do the power-ups work?
Power-ups unlock based on how long you survive in the current run. The peroxide balloon clears algae in a blast and recharges over time; the big brush briefly triples your scrub size; and the "orange cleanup crew" helper wades in and clears a chunk of algae before taking a short break.
Why do the geese matter?
The geese leave fouled white spots that are harder to scrub. Drag your brush near a goose to chase it off — while it's being shooed, it won't foul the water.
Where are my best times stored?
On your own device only. Pool Patroller has no accounts and no servers, so your best times never leave your phone or computer. See our Privacy Policy.
How do I reset or delete my data?
Since data is stored only on your device, you can clear it by clearing this site's data in your browser, or by deleting the app. There's no account to delete because there are no accounts.
The game won't load or feels slow — what can I do?
Try refreshing the page or restarting the app, and make sure you're on a current browser/OS version. If it persists, email us with your device and browser details.
